Cooking with old recipes as 100 years before

We start the day with a short introduction of the art of ancient cooking and split the participants into several cooking teams. Each team will receive a shopping list to get all necessary ingredients from the local market “Grünmarkt” at the old town of Salzburg or the weekly market, called the “Schranne”.

We then head on to a traditional farmhouse, where the cooking course itself will take place, as it did hundreds years ago. Each team will get the task to prepare a different meal according to ancient recipes. Certainly, we will also learn how to bake Austrian bread.

The highlight will be the common preparation of the table and tasting of the self-cooked specialties.

To remember this special experience and take something back home the attendees will receive the original recipes as well as a cooking apron.
