The new á la carte restaurant „The Glass Garden“ presents the culinary art of chef Markus Mayr, right under the newly constructed glass dome.
In 2017, the Hotel Schloss Mönchstein was honored as one of the best luxury hotels worldwide. After a renovation time of just 7 months the 5-star-superior-hotel recently reopened its doors perfectly in time to welcome guests from all over the world to the Salzburg Festival. The highlight of the renovation states a unique glass dome: the new gourmet restaurant called “The Glass Garden”.
Within the last seven months the 5-star-superior hotel was entirely modernized and renovated. The new interior perfectly fits to the traditional palace atmosphere, whereby mainly local manufacturer conducted the installations and manual fabrications.
In addition to the guest rooms and suites the meeting room Mönchsteinsaal, which offers space for up to 120 persons, as well as the enclosed foyer were reconditioned. Both event rooms are equipped with handmade Italian furniture and feature new room separators to offer event planners even more flexibility.
